The Venetian Castle of the Quirini is a fortified settlement where the outer walls of the houses create a wall with small windows for embrasures. The homes of the Quirini family are built around the entrance on the east side and were inhabited up until 1956.
Inside the castle there are two churches with ornate bell towers. At the entrance, you can see the hagiography of Virgin Mary and a bit further, on the side, the one of St. George. The church of Virgin Mary was built in 1853 above the arched entrance to the castle. Inside there is a dedicatory inscription from 1413 and the coats of arms of the Quirini family. The church of St. George was built in 1790.
