The tower was built in 1903. It is made of stone, it has two floors and it is located at the seafront of Alinda. It is surrounded by a nice and large courtyard with two buildings of the same style right in front of the garden.
The Tower is of great architectural interest as it combines medieval military architecture with neoclassical elements. Today it houses the Historical and Folklore Museum of Leros, while cultural events take place in its courtyard in the summer.
