Agios Dimitrios is a beautiful beach in South Evia. The water is turquoise and the sea deepens quickly while at the bottom there are tiny white pebbles. The beach is small and is ideal for camping, but there are neither taverns nor a place to stay overnight.
Access to Agios Dimitrios is relatively difficult because there is a dirt road (about 2km) to the beach and also just before you reach the beach you have to go through a little river (this can be done with any car, not necessarily with a 4x4). The river results in a very small pond with frogs that ends just where the beach begins.
