In Vlacherna's pedestrian bridge, there are daily boats with their boats, which have been transporting visitors to Pontikonisi for years. The three boats, "Sofia", "Panagia" and "Pontikonisi" start their services from 8:30 in the morning and continue every few minutes until 22:30 in the evening.
The distance between the quay located in the Blacherna Monastery and that at Pontikonisi is just 3 minutes and the ticket costs 2.50 € with return.
Visitors disembark in Pontikonisi and can visit the church and tour the islet, refresh in the small refreshment that operates on the island all day and buy ecclesiastical items and souvenirs.
