NAUTICAL MUSEUM THERAS

In the beautiful Oia, Santorini,
inside an old mansion restored in
its original form, unfolds the Nautical History of Thera.

A museum that was effortlessly built and loved by people
which have faithfully served the sea for many years.
The treasures of the Naval Museum of Thira are rare
typical samples of the naval tradition of Santorini
since they have been found in old captains of the island.

Rarely acorns, navy chests, accessories
shipping equipment, shipyard trails, old models
and newer vessels that belonged to Santorini
boatboats, watercolors of old sailing boats but
and photographic material and a library, they record
year after year the contribution of the Thera in glory
History of the Greek Navy.
